Data Security Professional (remote) ()

Hello,

We are looking for data people with security systems background. Tasks should be developing specific intelligent insights that would support the path towards unmanned power stations. This person should integrate generative AI, machine learning and global optimizations techniques to realize the vision of the intelligent insights functions.

The assignment is
- 80% allocation until the end of 2024
- possible to be extented and/or turn to a permanent post after that
- on 70 € +/- per hour OR related monthly salary
- mainly remote role

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and define cyber security upgrade packages to enhance adherence to the IEC62443 standard for the overall excitation product portfolio.
  • Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard our systems and networks against evolving cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans, enhancing compliance with the IEC62443 standard and industry-specific regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain security solutions (i.e. encryption protocols).
  • Stay updated with emerging threats, security technologies, and best practices, evaluating and recommending innovative solutions to enhance our security posture.
  • Provide guidance and support for security awareness programs, training employees on cybersecurity best practices, and fostering a culture of proactive security within the organization.

    Wanted background :
  • B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least 2 years of proven experience in cybersecurity roles.
  • Certification in cybersecurity such as CISSP/CISM/CISA or equivalent are preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in implementing and maintaining security measures in alignment with the IEC62443 standard for industrial control systems security.
  • Proficiency in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management, with a strong understanding of industry-specific compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in deploying and managing security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
  • Familiarity with emerging cybersecurity technologies, threat landscape, and proactive risk mitigation strategies to effectively protect organizational assets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to drive cybersecurity initiatives and foster a secure environment.
